RECESS SELECT: FEAVEN ABERA
The Canadian film and TV industry rarely builds a robust star system, leaving talent to seek publicity support outside the country. In collaboration with Recess Community's Select series, which invites local creatives to take over its studio and share what drives their craft, I produced a pop-up spotlighting Ethio-Canadian actress and model Feaven Abera. The event centered her journey through the arts, an honest look at the "not yet but getting there" phase of a career, and played to a packed room throughout the activation.
