BE KIND REWIND FILM CLUB
Be Kind Rewind was a film screening series I co-hosted and co-produced with Moe Pramanick, in partnership with Recess Community. Each event paired an eclectic pick, from Nope to Run Lola Run to Gaza Mon Amour, with a full experience built around it: themed video compilations that played like makeshift trailers as guests arrived, a custom soundtrack curated for each film, and film trivia. After the credits, I moderated a conversation where the room unpacked the themes, what they connected to, and behind-the-scenes stories. The series treated a screening less as something you watched than something a community made together.
